Floral tributes were paid to Shri Sat Paul Mittal on 12th Jan and Shri Joginder Pall Panday on 19th Jan 2008 to commemorate their death anniversary. The annual day celebration functions of Sat Paul Mittal School were held at Panday Auditorium on 28th and 30th November 2007. Scholarship distribution and Sat Paul Mittal Award function was held on 11th November 2005. Dr. Sahul Bharti was the recipient of the Sat Paul Mittal award for the year 2005. The annual Inter-College Debate was held on 28th Oct., 2005 at S.C.D. Govt. College for Boys to celebrate the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Lal Nehru. In all 12 colleges participated and the trophy was bagged by Govt. College for Women, Ludhiana. Scholarship distribution function was held at Panday Auditorium on 9th May 2006 where scholarships were distributed to various schools and individuals. The annual Inter-School Declamation Contest was held to commemorate the death anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru at Panday auditorium on 5th May 2006. 25 schools participated in this contest and Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, won the contest. Besides this, various exhibitions were also held in the year 2005, in the exhibition hall of Nehru Sidhant Kender, by organizations like Tamilnadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd.
